Easy Chocolate and Peanut Butter Covered Frozen Bananas

Who knew frozen bananas can taste like ice cream? I sure didn't! I was looking for a somewhat healthy treat one night. My mom brought me 5 bananas... and they all seem to just turn black before I could get to them. This time however, I decided to be good and use up the bananas before they've past their prime.... and I wanted to do a recipe that wasn't so labor intensive/ butter intensive. I normally go for banana bread.. but after a few quick searches on food gawker, I found this recipe... which was a super popular and relatively easy recipe !

For 1 banana -
Melt 1/8 cup peanut butter + 1/8 cup milk chocolate chip ( melt in 15 second interval, stirring every time, the high oil content in peanut butter makes it really easy to burn (speaking from experience!) in a short amount of time... heat until everything is almost melted... then stop.. and stir until fully melted)
Cut up banana into 1 inch pieces ( these bananas should NOT be super ripe or they will fall apart)
Dip into chocolate mixture
Sprinkle with toppings - I used coconut, pretzels (these turned stale in the freezer), sprinkles, and fleur de sal
Place onto a wax or parchment lined tray and place into the freezer for a few hours

**Place into microwave for 5 seconds if the chocolate is not sticking well to the banana**
