Challah !

I'll update more in a bit... taking pictures of bread is very difficult because of the color... I made Challah, because of the Jewish holiday. I'm not Jewish, but I know people who are! Just Kidding, that wasn't my reason for making it... Challah is just a very beautiful and tasty sweet bread IMO, nothing looks cooler than a braided loaf, and it looks like so much effort took place but in reality it's just the same as making .....hm cinnamon rolls iono? I made 3 loafs, 2 minis + one large one. I made a bear shaped one ( inspired by a bear loaf I saw at the Boudin's sourdough bakery in SF... which sadly did not turn out AS cute... due to the raisins int he dough), a mini 5 strand braided challah with poppy seed, and a large 6 strand braided challah. I added raisins, because I can't really stand plain bread, plus my family likes the sweetness of the raisins ( I think.) I've always been a fan of making bread into weird shapes. Maybe I'll try a fish one soon. I'll post the recipe later... time to edit or retake pics. Hopefully there is some bread left.... and hope someone had the courage to cut into the teddy bear loaf...I haven't had the heart to kill the teddy bear yet... : )
