So...

I guess I'm going on vacation for the next few days. It was totally unplanned and spontaneous. I'm going to the land of the not so unique. A place where replicas are the norm, and restaurants usually are there because it did better somewhere else. Why the lack of enthusiasm? I don't know. haha. I've just been there before, and you know my thing about not liking to repeat vacations... going there 3 times = overkill? notsomuch.. because it's constantly evolving...but it's cool. I have more time this time to explore the specialties all clumped into one strip, and hey, another place to get inspired by food rite? After I return, it will be non-stop baking/cooking for family, friends, and holiday parties. I have a list of things I want to make but am not too sure if I will actually make them.

On the list:

• red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting with a small chocolate gingerbread boy cookies on each one,
• mint chocolate chip cake pops presents for a person who loves mint,
• cookie balls,
• peppermint bark (just figuring out why that's a holiday craze (I'm tempted with them every time I go to Williams-Sonoma.. it's growing on me!),
• carrot cupcakes,
• apple pie,
• white chocolate chip cookies?

I don't know. I bought everything I needed before I left ... so I should be good to go. Friday will be a crazy baking day... totally looking forward to it. : ) Hopefully... I win it big gambling.. oh the wishful thinking... me + machines = clueless, me + the tables = even more clueless. But I will be at the tables, betting on random numbers, worked last time, hopefully it'll work this time, I'm just not going with my lucky charm : (... just gotta find a casino that has a smoke free policy with little minimums...hm...yea haha.
