Beer Pizza Crust

Beer Pizza Crust
(Makes 3 personal pizzas )

1 cup flat beer
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/4 teaspoons yeast
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp basil
1/4 tsp garlic salt
Corn meal

1. Place ingredients into bread machine  ( usually liquids and yeast on the bottom, flour and stuff on the top) set on "Dough Setting" and run it...
2. Take dough out of machine and shape into pizza crusts, place on cookie sheets with a sprinkling of corn meal, let rise for 10 minutes in a warm place
3. Preheat oven at 400 degrees, and bake crusts for 5 minutes
4. Add toppings, and bake for another 15-20 minutes until pizza crust is crispy and cheese in the center has melted.

Here are some notes about this recipe:

- It tastes even better..... when reheated, no seriously, the crust is SO crunchy and good... bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or just until hot, don't use the microwave!!!! .. never tried heating it in the microwave.. but noooo so much effort to be wasted ... : (

-The beer flavor is not really obvious in the bread in case you're wondering, and I think the alcohol burns off when baked, I used miller lite ( the lone beer can I've ever owned.. I don't think it was even mine.. but it was at least 1.5 years old, and I inherited the can after moving : ( ... I don't think miller lite tastes that good...well haven't gotten a chance to drink it, don't plan on it either haha)  1 can = 1.5 cups

- To make flat beer ... empty beer into a cup in a way that maximizes the foam ( straight down ), and have another cup to pour it in back and fourth back and fourth until it looks like the fizz is dying, a little fizz won't hurt I don't think, I didn't spend more than 2 minutes on this... anyway, pizza has become my new favorite food, can't wait to try more dough recipes! : )
