Why Do I Cook So Much?

You must wonder why I bake and cook so much. Surely you're aware that many college students do not take the time and cook meals, and well many just don't know how to cook. Cooking for me started way back. When I was playing with my toys, they would mostly be either about cooking or dolls. I was trained to be the perfect domestic goddess since my mom was a stay at home mom. I learned how to cook, clean, and sew at a very young age, and well that is kind of rare for many people my age to say that nowadays. While I am grateful for fisher price for making such awesome play kitchens (I had 2!!) and realistic foods, I also would credit my mom to inspiring me to cook things. I never really "learned" how to cook using recipes, I just sat there in front of food network, or next to the kitchen and watched. Cooking is all about creativity, I hate being ordinary and boring, and I hate being around people who are like that too. I cook for many different reasons.. while many people might be like omg it's so time consuming, I just say, this is my way of letting the stress of life escape me for just one moment.. and I'm glad that I am lucky enough to actually found my passion in life.. now I gotta take that passion and apply it to a career... and for me, it hopefully will be dentistry. You honestly can't wake up one day and be like "omg I want to be a dentist" but after hundreds and hundreds of hours, I know dentistry is something that I can do, and want to do, whether it is the dexterity skills needed to wax a tooth or drill a filling (quite possibly the funnest things I've ever done with dentistry) or teaching little kids AND also adults how to floss ( C SHAPE! HAHA) ... it's been something that I've been interested in for the past at least 13 years.. to think I'm only 22......so that is why.... as a message to myself, I need to stop blogging and focus on studying....: ( Adios blog.. it was fun for awhile...

Took the impression, did a PFM crown prep, and also sculpted the waxed tooth with tiny droplets of wax... that took an hour : ( haha... I just want to do this for a living : (((... one day.. one day..
