"Pleasant" Pork Chops

Lunch is served, although this is like a dinner. OK, first off, I took this recipe off of AllRecipes.com it was called " Pleasant Pork Chops" ...... that has to be one of the WORST names people have come up with for describing a recipe that's this good!... Yes, these porkchops were "pleasant" ... but I think it deserves a little more credit....

My Version of "Pleasant Pork Chops" ( for one)

Time until completed: 1 hour ( I have a lot of time on my hands these days haha)

1 pork chop bone-in 5-6 oz
1/4 onion chopped
1/2 tsp crushed garlic
1/2 tbsp butter
Salt, Pepper
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp rosemary, or a few fresh rosemary leaves
1/8 cup white wine + 2 tbsp white wine for sauce
1/8 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup sour cream

1. Melt butter, and saute onions until soft with the garlic , remove onions from pan
2. Brown pork chops on both sides for a few minutes, add in 1/8 cup wine + 1/8 cup chicken broth + bay leaf + rosemary+ onion mixture, sprinkles a little bit of salt and pepper.
3. Cover and reduce to very low heat , simmer for 45 minutes
4. Remove pork chop from pan, add wine wine and reduce sauce until the alcohol is almost burnt off, and then add in the sour cream. Do not boil, it will separate, like mine almost did (: / ) Spoon the sauce onto the pork chops, and serve with .. well I served mine with fresh garlic-y brussels sprouts steamed with a little chicken broth.
