All of my favorite recipes.... now in a "book!"

I have had many people tell me that I should write my own cookbook. I just tell myself... that I should find a nice way to store all the recipes I've tried in an easily accessible place.... that was the original intention of a blog. I thought it was going to be a personal site where only I.. and a few of my really close friends, would view from time to time. I knew if I needed a recipe, I could go to my blog to find the alterations I made, plus it's nice seeing the things I've been doing for the past 6 months! I wouldn't have thought that I'd be getting views from over 30 states and 20 countries! : ) So, at the request of my mom, I decided to make a book. She was getting tired of me printing out recipes and flooding her recipe space/ using my phone all the time to look up ingredients on my blog.
Solution: I made a Photobook. I've made one before, and boy do they take a LONG time to make. I made this 20 page book in 5+ hours, and that's pretty much without any interruptions. I stayed up til 5 one night to work on it and then added the finishing touches later that day. This was a "one day" deal.... 25 dollars off a photo project on Photoworks.com , shipping killed the deal, but I don't think 14 dollars is a bad price for a nice keepsake. It also makes a great gift... but I only printed out one ... my project is saved on that website, so I guess I can make more copies if needed : )
**************
I called it..." SkinnyMinhy's Favorite Desserts " This is the 2009 edition ; P

The cover had a cut out to the title pageThe inside of the book... recipes and pictures on all pages! I squeezed over 20 recipes into this book... all of my favorite bake goods that I made this year : )Recipes can look like this... 2 on a page..If you look closely.. I'm in this pic .. all blurred out haha..it was a pretty cool shot my sis took of me holding a pumpkin bread bundt that was focused on the bundt but not on my face. I just wanted to stick my face in this book somewhere... random, I know... but that's me hehe : D

So if you're ever stuck about gift giving... for iono.. the holidays, birthdays, or anniversaries... Photobooks are the way to go! ... and at CVS and stuff, you can make one in like 20 minutes.. but I think you're limited on text space... but if you have more time, do splurge a bit on the photo quality... the instant quality won't be as good as the one that takes a few days to process. Photoworks printed it beautifully, and looked very professional. I've also had good experiences with Walgreens-online... just be on a look out for coupons so you can save a bit on your project! : )
