1/2 of an eggplant
1/8 cup mayonaise
1/2 clove of garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 the juice of a lemon
1.5 tsp sesame seed oil
2 tsp sesame seeds
salt and pepper to taste
1. Roast an eggplant in a preheated 400 degree oven for 30 minutes ( poke holes in the skin)
2. Take out of oven, and remove skin. (Some people say to run it under cold water, but I didn't try that.)
3. Place all ingredients into the blender or food processor except the olive oil. Puree until blended. While having the blender on the "puree" mode, drizzle in the olive oil.
4. Place in fridge for a few hours so flavors can develop

I got my first issue of Bon Appetit! ... which then inspired me to make macarons... and well.. no pictures of macarons here... first time ever, they didn't even make it to the oven! I aged my eggwhites for 3 days... they kind of evaporated... so I didn't have enough egg to fold with the dry ingredients... the batter was incredibly thick, and so I just gave up. Why bother. They were rose flavored.. it smelled and tasted wonderfully... but I knew that it wouldn't give me that elusive macaron look.
I'm sitting next to so many books... Blah Blah "made ridiculously simple." If only that were the case... some days I wonder if I'm in med school... but can med school really be any harder than what I have to go through? Sure it's harder to get in...and people are more cut throat.... but like content wise... and load... I'd like to find the answer to that one day. Meh. Boards Smoards.. they're all the same. I'm studying some USMLE books... and well it makes sense right? It always looks like "You Smile" to me.. Yep. It has dentistry written all over it. Even saying it is cool.. u s m l e.... what's so cool about nbde ... n .. b..d...e ? no one knows about it.... and yes, dentists do need to know everything about the body too.... I think that's why I've been into medical shows lately. I could sometimes come to the diagnosis before the drs on the show, and I understand their "rationales" ... sometimes... arg... this is the longest i've been without Facebook.. and well i don't really miss it. I waste my time watching tv now. I don't know what's worse.
I realized I do have an obsession with nails... haha darn Konad. These were my nails last week. I took the polish off after a few days because my hands go through a lot throughout the week... which explains random scratches here and there (don't worry they're from lab work not from patients :D ) .. ahh nail art is so addicting.. ! My nails are currently metallic silver... yep totally reminds me of having amalgam on my fingers...
