Busy Week, Must Eat

I'm still having that problem where I have no idea what I'm going to feed myself. My friend convinced me that making a delicious sandwich doesn't take that long, and for the past few days, I've been doing just that. This week will be weird. I'm finally booked solid and I have my first midterm of the quarter. It feels weird to study and of course, I wait until the last minute. Some things never change. I had a fun weekend, there was a party marking my class's great achievement of making it half way through (I even made this sandwich after I got home.. sliced and sautéed mushrooms as well!) I can't believe dental school is going by so quickly. I had my interview just 2 years ago, and now I'm already exam-ing, cleaning, and prepping on patients!

This post is dedicated to Megan, who also got some good news herself the past week (I have the smartest friends :).) I don't know when she'll see this, but here's to you for making me breakfast before our cave explorations :) I'm glad I have friends who are willing to try new things. Life's too boring just sitting alone.

Here's to a great productive week... and killing it on the midterm tomorrow. My pt today told me I broke the stereotypes of many dentists, and that I was so easy to talk to. Yes, not all dentists are socially awkward. I like to talk. I like to get to know my patients. I love that I can make that difference. It makes it easier to take care of them when you know they can see how much you care.

Things in my sandwich : avocado, sauté mushrooms, fried egg, black forest ham. simple, delicious, filling :) ... the best part? ...That initial squeeze of the sandwich releasing all that yolky goodness... everywhere...... yum.
