Chicken Tikka Masala

I think the only times I eat Indian foods in SF are somewhere from 1-3 AM.... after a night out... Every time I hit up the bars around that area, I always make my journey over to Naan-N-Curry. Authentic? I don't know... Good? I mean it's good for the time being, and the fun atmosphere.... but other than that.. it's not a restaurant I'd frequent when I haven't been out all night. I actually made this sauce a few days before, and let it marinate in the fridge. I didn't have time to figure out why it didn't taste too authentic, or why the texture was a bit off, so I decided to ask my Indian friend for some advice. To my amazement, blending the sauce in a food processor really made all the difference. The was the best tikka masala I've made thus far... the sauce paired very well with the chicken.... and went wonderfully with the fluffy basmati rice. I heated up some frozen naan in my toaster.. and voila.. my very own Indian feast!

Blog and Life Semi-Related News~
Another thing that was brought up last night, was that I should be a programmer (wait what? haha I mean, I like to go with the story about not having a job (I'm really not lying...) ... but the suggestions are getting more and more.. serious!) ... I guess I never really figured out what programming was until late into college. I had to write a few "programs" for my stats/ psych classes.... I don't think I'm a total lost cause for it..  This blog really helped me understand codes and what not...but I just spent a few hours trying to add a few codes to my blog resulting in some weird failures... and a slow down of my site.... Question for the world.. since when did so many people get into programming without me noticing?  I guess I should give this whole programming thing a try. I'm sorry to all you programmers out there, it's not like I don't like you all, I end up meeting at least one of you guys every week...but there are just too many of you all (in San Francisco)... (or so I think..).. it took me over a year to meet a dentist at a bar..... I guess my kind is rare. Programming is another language, and something I'd love to decode one day to make my site a bit more user friendly.. and iPad friendly. The limitations I have from dynamic view has been so frustrating...I just wish I knew how to add widgets, buttons, and stuff to try and grow my blog. But, for the time being, I like my blog just the way it is. Simple. Simple. Simple... I'm quickly approaching my 4 year anniversary for my blog.. maybe then I'll do a full transformation, and delete the blogspot.. domain.... and my cheesy nickname? Who knows.

For now... my blog is glitchy ( thank pinterest for the most frustrating day of my life trying to attach a simple meta tag to my blog... that usually takes a minute.. but no, not with their meta tag..... but then I found a new spot on their site that will spit out a meta tag that will actually work! It worked.. I'm verified....and definitely wasted a day's worth of.. editing my site.. )

Problem list :
~Doesn't show dynamic view right away some times, will show a very standard template... but upon refresh it looks like it should...
~slow loading...
~my top title is not centered anymore.. and the font size is too small :(
~on my dell, the blog width is not the same as on my mac...
~all my photos have frames now (time to go back and re do that all again..)
~AHHHHHHHHHHHHH .. sorry.. just had to do this..
~Props to programmers.. I'm going to stick with dentistry... root canals aren't even this frustrating!

Here was my first attempt at chicken tikka.. don't think I'll be using that recipe again : http://skinnyminhy.blogspot.com/2009/10/i-wanted-to-try-something-new.html?q=chicken+tikka

(This new recipe trumps the old one... by a lot!!!)
