Cheesy Shells
I finally made mac and cheese correctly! ... as in the sauce didn't fall apart on me... this was all things yum... and the recipe is pretty easy but it was also pretty easy to mess up.. definitely threw away some burnt butter/ milk mixture and had to start the sauce all over.. but after that it was all good ... delicious and rich!

I didn't use cream, I used half and half, and didn't butter my bread crumbs.. just sprinkled it on.. baked it for 15 minutes and broiled until brown ( a few minutes) .. Even though this was a somewhat basic recipe, I think I'll still be gravitating towards my beloved blue boxes more often... there's just something about those box meals that make me so happy... must be the "cheese" flavor.. :)
