I wish I was talking about a computer... I really don't like my Dell. anyway... here they are.. in all their glory.... macarons... although it wasn't an uber fail (as I thought would happen).. it was a good attempt after my really long hiatus.. of macaron making (3-4 months?)... I made earl grey macarons.. using my (not so trusty) KA mixer.. Pierre Escargot. I had to give him a last name to distinguish him from the previous mixer I had.. haha.. anyway... these were tasty.. kind of tasted like fruit loops.. I used 2 earl grey tazo tea bags to get the flavor. It was my first time making them in my kitchen.. as well as with that mixer... most of them did not turn out as nice as the one pictured... the foot was in the wrong place... but the texture is still the same (eggshell outer.. semi chewy / semi hollowed out center.) I think I might have to increase the temp a bit for this oven... iono.. trial and error.. I'll live with these results.
other than that...there's not much else going on in my life... I had a wonderful Labor day weekend... didn't do much.. finally got to relax a bit. Hope everyone had a wonderful break as well... I've deactivated facebook so that I can focus on my schooling. I had another practical today.. hopefully that went ok and I passed... haha.. yep.. oh, before I forget.... Happy Birthday Ben! Hope you ate all of them!!!
