I cheated. I feel bad... but... I wanted sweets SO badly..... like SO SO SO SO badly.. but didn't want to pay a lot for it...

I went to safeway and bought a cake mix.. and some pineapple... total cost was around 2 bucks... and made 8 pineapple upside down cupcakes... that's a lot of $ .. I should have to just bought some at the store... yikes. But yea, I hate box mixes... they just taste.. bad? iono.. just overly SWEET. I can't get over it... anyway.. here they are.. my inspiration .. Roy's in Waikoloa Village , HI..service was bad..pretty bad food there as well... dessert was nothing spectacular :( .. meh.. what can I expect from a touristy area? oh well.. I didn't really like this recipe just because it's TOO sweet and SOGGY..I really need to step away from boxed mixes for awhile.. maybe forever..
