Well.. the quarter finally picked up, and I finally didn't have the time for my weekly update... oh well... I thought that would happened.. and going 7 weeks with weekly updates while still going through the motions of dental school was great... anyway... I'm at the end of my quarter... almost 2/3rd of the way done!... and like most quarters the last few weeks are the weeks where I actually feel like a grad student... aka. TESTS.. papers... projects... the works.
I had a fun quarter... some might say... a little too much fun... I had a lot time for self discovery coupled with my weekly "trying out new recipes" thing... I got to explore the city a lot more.. but I'm ready to leave it for a few weeks just to see what else is out there... upcoming trips are to Kansas City/ Lawrence to celebrate my quarter of a century milestone, then an adventurous road trip with my friends from dental school from Portland to Seattle to Vancouver back down to Seattle.... yep.. summer time... Can't wait... until then.. there are many more tests to take... and patients to call.. explaining why I can't see them for their 6 month recalls... darn breaks and rotations. Any who, the last week, I did bake, but I didn't blog about it.. I will just lump the pictures together... I actually made this all on one day... surprisingly... a Friday...

P.S. Happy 3rd Birthday my beloved dSLR. I'm really proud of myself for still using this camera and not upgrading it like I thought I would years ago... what an amazing 3 years it's been.. this camera has captured so many moments... ahhh it's so true though, once you get an SLR... nothing else compares.... one day... they'll make a Canon 5D... Mark  ? ... that's light enough to carry around in my purse :D until then.. my Canon XS will have to do... I'm still frustrated at the focus points, but I'll survive... until I make the money to get a camera that's 7 times the cost of this one :)
